Leather & Sage is a small leathercraft and bookbinding business based in the heart of Ludlow that specialises in crafting leather adventure journals for artists, writers, and wanderers.

Our notebooks, journals, and accessories are handcrafted by Caitlin in her workshop with sustainability in mind. We are dedicated to reducing waste - our accessories are made using leather offcuts bought from large manufacturers, and our bigger projects use sustainably sourced leather from ethical sellers with the same aims and values as us. Leather & Sage journals are crafted individually, by hand, in small batches. No two products will ever be exactly the same and you may not see the same leather twice.

Our name, Leather & Sage, symbolises our philosophy: strength, reliability, and wisdom. It’s also about what we sell and how you use it: our journals are made to survive all of life’s adventures and hold all of the knowledge, lore, and poetry you learn along the way.

We can be found in person at markets and events around Shropshire where we're likely to be selling one-off products that can't be found on our website - we're always up for a chat, so come and say hi!
